| Dear Mr. French (Ramada General Manager), We were traveling through South Dakota on Friday, August 17, 2007 when a storm came up, probably THE STORM of 2007 as the rain and hail did close Interstate 90 for a time that night. As we drove into increasingly strong downpours, we finally were able to get off the highway at Exit 48. We were happy to see a hotel at that exit and even more pleased to find a room available. But the very best was how wonderful your staff was that evening. I cannot speak for others who were staying there, but I saw your staff going out of their way to help travelers, many of whom had lots of damage to vehicles and possessions. The staff was kind and helpful. The young lady at the front desk was calm and professional as she dealt with travelers who were often stressed and tired from the driving conditions. The next morning at breakfast, the host was kind and offered information where he was able while competently providing a wonderful breakfast to what I imagine was a full house. Your leadership is likely the reason you have such a fine staff and your are to be commended for that. That you for a wonderful stay.
